I cannot find anyone that has. The three splitters I have attach to the lower black trim of the stock bumpers. But if you will commit to removing them from my garage, I will hold them. For the price you can afford to try it you want.

What have you done to improve your Mini?

I recently bought a 2003 Cooper S with about 102k miles on it, and intend to start tweaking some things to get better performance out of it.

What would you recommend for improvements and modifications on a budget? Where do you go for your parts and labor? What have you done with yours, and what has and has not worked well?

I changed the editor used throughout the site. This version allows you to be more expressive in your posts. Adding things like bold and italics and underlines to make your posts and messages easier to read.

What to you think of a combined club web site

I think the site will be a great tool for everyone to use, when it gets promoted a little more. Bring it up at club gatherings and events. Promote it more on Facebook, etc. Encourage its use for communication between members.

We went to Como Park this morning looking down by the lake for the group and found nobody. Did I miss something?

Also, I REALLY like the M.U.M. logo. Is this being sold in patch form, or on a cap or something. I'm not sure of the cost, but I think I know of a place that could make such items.

By the way, thanks for all the work on the club. I know it's not easy.

I am not headed down there but two years ago we did the Tail of the Dragon in the fall. It was great. If you haven't ever driven that road it is fantastic!

Not intentional. Some people have both. I guess the people with old minis are afraid to share?

North St. Paul Car show

I looked on their website and the Friday night car show in North St. Paul resumes June 3. If you have never gone...it is a hoot! It begins about 6 p.m. but arrive sooner and find a place to park..... Have a brew at a bar (to be decided) then walk the streets.... Fun old cars in fabulous shape..... Owners sit near, or by them.... Lots of 50's and 60's cars... There is some food available on the street to eat while you stroll around.... This show is every Friday evening ...ending in mid September... I really enjoyed it and you might too.... Facebook is great but having a website is even better. But one note is that on the SotaMINI facebook page it still mentions the old SotaMINI website (under "Info"). It should be updated to have this new website.

Brand new Blizzaks mounted and balanced 700.00 OBO

I purchased a set of 16" blizzak winter tires and mounted them on MSW rims for my 2004 MINI. They are beautiful, but I decided I could not bear to drive it during the winter! They are still in the packaging and have never seen the road. I am hoping to find a good home for them. With shipping I paid a little over 900.00 from Tirerack.com. Faribault Heritage Day Parade

The parade is getting closer. I am going to try and schedule a practice session before hand. Here is a message from our favorite parade organizer.
Rob,

We are approaching the date for the annual Heritage Day Parade and Mini-Sota Mini's is registered as a unit again this year. As a reminder, the date is Saturday, June 19th. They have chosen to run the parade on the same route as last year and so the staging area is at the Rice County Fairground, like last year. They promise that the process will be more organized this year ( lets hope this is the case). I will let you know more information as I receive it, like which unit number we are, etc. I registered early hoping we would get a good location in the parade. There will be a food stand open on the grounds again this year so participants can get food while we wait.

Will we be getting together in the weeks ahead of time to practice? Do we want to meet early that day to all drive to the staging area together?

Can you put something out there for all our Mini/MINI friends to let them know we are in the parade again? Looking forward to the parade!!!
